Who's Who in the Children's Department?

Miss Carrie

Miss Carrie is the Head of the Children's Department & Youth Services. She loves working in the Children's Department, especially getting to know all the kids who come through. She feels very, very lucky to be a part of such a great team dedicated to assisting the children who visit the department. She loves sweet, nature-based books, like those by author Kevin Henkes.  She also really likes Nerds Gummy Clusters.

Miss Dianna

Miss Dianna loves to help boys and girls look for books to read, especially when they're not quite sure what they want to read! She leads many programs in the Children's Department, including Book Bites and Fun Labs! Her favorite author is Shel Silverstein and she loves chocolate. 

Miss Nettie

Miss Nettie loves seeing kids enjoy making crafts and reading, but most of all she loves seeing kids learn to do things they didn't think they could. Her favorite book is What Was I Scared Of by Dr. Seuss and she adores Dove dark chocolate.

Mr B

Mr B is the Children's Department's Outreach Specialist. He loves getting to travel to schools all over the valley to read, sing, and educate kids about the library. He loves bringing stories to life, singing, and popcorn. He is particularly fond of books by Jory Johnson and David Shannon.

Bluey

Bluey is the library fish! He loves showing off his gills and when kids stop by and tell him a story. Be sure to stop by and read something new to Bluey!
