The Library is committed to reasonably and lawfully protecting the information provided by and collected from you in connection with the functions, facilities, products, and services offered through the Library's Services. The Personal Information that we collect for users (each, a "User") are used for providing and improving the Services. We will not intentionally use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Personally Identifiable Information ("PII" or "Personal Information") is collected to provide Users a better experience while using our Services. Users can always decline to supply Personal Information, however, should a User choose to withhold requested PII, We may not be able to provide the online services dependent upon the collection of that information.

The information we collect will be used to contact you (ex.: subscribing to an e-newsletter or answers to questions submitted online) or identify you (ex.: authentication of your library card number for online services).

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance 

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
