Pabst Malsters & Bottlers in Wheeling

Pabst Brewing Co. of Milwaukee Wisconsin had a Wheeling presence with a “Pabst Malsters & Bottlers” located at 11-21 33rd Street in South Wheeling, from about 1894 to 1914. L.B. Wheat was one of the early managers. A malster or maltser produced malt from barley for brewing.
