Plaza | State Theater in Wheeling
With construction starting 1920, the "new" Plaza Theater opened in August of 1921. In 1931, it was reopened at Kautz State Theater, operated by D. R. Kautz of the Kautz Perectone Corp., of Cincinnati, Ohio, with resident manager C. E. Hohman. By 1934, it was under the management of James Velas.
The State Theatre was razed in 1959 to make way for a new bank building for Security Trust Co.
