WHO'S WHO IN ROTARY

A product of the Eighth ward, born August 28, _____. Attended the Eighth ward public school and Frasher's business college. By trade a printer serving as a journeyman and was drafted to the reportorial force.

Conversant with both German and English languages. Served as reporter on the local German paper printed at that time and later was connected with the Register and Intelligencer. In 1901 associated himself with R. G. Dun & Co., a position for which his newspaper training had fitted him. Manager of their Canton, Ohio, office for several years.

Took to wife the daughter of Joseph Hydinger, answering to the name of Miss Minnie, and a member of one of South Wheeling's pioneer families. To this union was born one daughter, Adelaide Cicely Colmar, aged 10. Affiliated with most of the clubs, lodges, fraternal organizations, etc. in this district and sometimes listens to Uncle Jimmie Leyenberger preach — but not often. An extensive traveler in his time, having been all over the North American continent — Canada and Mexico, as well as Europe. Also goes to Atlantic City annually. One of the charter members of the Wheeling Rotary club, serving three years as treasurer and one year as assistant secretary-treasurer.

Large of stature, somewhat of a speech maker, a booster for Wheeling, for business and for Rotary. To know Little Fritz is to admire him, so here's wishing him many more August 28ths.
