Security National Bank & Trust Company and National Bank of West Virginia Collection
About this collection:
➤The collection consists of photographs, memorabilia and other ephemera related to both the Security National Trust Company and the National Bank of West Virginia. Of note are the early photographs of the two-story National Bank of West Virginia building on the corner of 12th and Main designed by Thomas Pope. That building was razed in 1915 and a ten-story building designed by Charles W. Bates was built on that same location. Also of note are photographs of the Security National Auto Bank at 11th and Chapline Streets taken in the 1970s as well as the photographs of the Security National Bank & Trust Company’s newly remodeled interior lobby, circa 1980s.
