We still have one week left in our online Summer Reading programs for kids. We've been all around the world this summer (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Antarctica, South America, and back) and this week we'll be heading back home. There is no place like home as we conclude our summer travels. Monday's Toddler Time featured story will be Zoo Borns: Zoo Babies from Around the World, by Andrew Bleiman and Chris Eastland. Tuesday we'll have Story Time with Come Home Already! by Jory John. And on Thursday we'll have our final Summer Reading Special Activity reading the book Home by Carson Ellis and going on an Around Your House Scavenger Hunt!
Subscribe to our OCPL Kids! YouTube Channel, like our Facebook Page Ohio County Public Library Kid’s Page, or tune in to our Story Time Online: Reading Takes You Places web page to watch all of our previous programs as well as this week's upcoming Story Times, Toddler Times, and Special Summer Reading Activities. And remember, these programs count toward your child's READSqaured minutes! Don't forget to log them as you watch.

Surviving Round One and battling head-to-head in a live (virtual) broadcast studio, our 2020 Champions were: 1st place - Dave Rinn - $75 gift certificate to Later Alligator; 2nd Place - Becky Szabo - $50 gift certificate to Avenue Eats; and 3rd Place - Michael Borsuk - $25 gift certificate to Wheeling Brewing. Very impressive knowledge was displayed by all - especially by our third-place winner Michael who is only sixteen!
