Library Renovations Starting

Starting February 7, 2017, the Library will be undergoing renovation work.

Renovations will begin at the Ohio County Public Library, Wheeling, WV, starting February 7, 2017.

New ceilings, energy-efficient LED lights, and energy-efficient windows will be installed throughout the building. Construction will begin in the Children's Department, which will be inaccessible for a few weeks time. A selection of children's books, DVD's, magazines, and other materials will be available for check out. It will not be possible for staff to access the Children's area, so reserved items will not be retrievable. The computers in the Children's Department will also be unavailable during this time. Story Times will be held on the lower level of the library in the classroom. Toddler Time will continue to be held in the auditorium. Parking will be somewhat limited throughout the project. Substantial completion is scheduled for late July. We apologize for any inconvenience our remodeling project may cause.
