Biographies Section Now Available at OCPL

The Ohio County Public Library is excited to announce the launch of a new genre section dedicated entirely to biographies!

In a wonderful development for all of our loyal nonfiction lovers,  we are officially introducing a new section at the beginning of our nonfiction shelves along the eastern wall of the library. On these shelves, we will be offering a wide array of titles that dive deeply into the lives of notable figures from history, music, culture, science, sports, and beyond.

Patrons visiting the new section will find it easy to browse, with helpful staff available to recommend titles or assist with finding anything specific. Our staff members meticulously selected titles to represent a diverse range of voices and experiences, ensuring that there is something for everyone! We even currently have some of our staff picks and most beloved titles on display in front of our main entrance.

Whether you're fascinated by the accomplishments of world leaders, intrigued by the personal struggles of artists, or curious about the lives of everyday people who made extraordinary contributions, the biography section promises to be a wealth of inspiration and knowledge. Patrons are invited and encouraged to explore this collection and discover new perspectives through the lives of others!
