2016 Adult Summer Reading Program Wrap-Up

On Your Marks, Get Set, Read... 2016 Adult Summer Reading ProgramThe 2016 Adult Summer Reading Program concluded on August 1. Thanks to all our patrons who participated in this year's program!

Forty-two adults picked up Summer Reading packets and 149 program-related books were checked out. A total of seven prizes will be given to the winning participants.

  • The Gold Medal winner is Kelly Reasbeck who will receive an Amazon gift card, a reading light and a deluxe picnic blanket.
  • The Silver Medal winner is Alice Runkle who will receive a Kindle Fire e-book reader with cover, a reading light and a deluxe picnic blanket.
  • The Bronze Medal winner is Evelyn Pearl who will receive a Kindle Fire e-book reader, a reading light and a deluxe picnic blanket.

The other four prize winners will receive a reading light and a deluxe picnic blanket.

All prizes have been ordered and the winners will be contacted when they arrive.

We are already looking forward to next year's Adult Summer Reading Program. We welcome patron suggestions for next year's theme. Please submit any comments or suggesting for the 2017 program prior to January 2017. The theme will be announced in February.
