STORY TIME AT THE LIBRARY: Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs

It's November — make that DINOVEMBER! Who doesn't like dinosaurs?!! Our theme for the first week of Dinovember is Funny Dinosaurs!

Story Time programs introduce young children to books, rhymes, songs, crafts, and other fun activities. Library Story Time incorporates the early literacy skills that children must master before they can learn to read. Story Times are designed for children 3-5 years old, though all ages are welcome. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and caregivers are asked to participate with their children. Story Time is held in the Children's Department. This fall, Story Time will also be broadcast online, live, on Tuesdays at 10 am (see below for details).

Today's Story Time: We will read a funny dinosaur story and make a paper plate dinosaur mask.

Book Synopsis: Once upon a time, there were three hungry Dinosaurs: Papa Dinosaur, Mama Dinosaur . . . and a Dinosaur who happened to be visiting from Norway. One day—for no particular reason—they decided to tidy up their house, make the beds, and prepare pudding of varying temperatures. And then—for no particular reason—they decided to go . . . someplace else. They were definitely not setting a trap for some succulent, unsupervised little girl. Definitely not. Goldilocks, who never listens to warnings, walks into their house and springs the trap!

This fall, This fall,  the Ohio County Public Library Children’s Department has planned Toddler Times and Story Times both in-person at the Ohio County Public Library and virtually! Toddler Time videos can be watched live on Mondays at 10:30. Story Time videos can be watched live on Tuesdays at 10.
