LUNCH WITH BOOKS: Virtual Walking Tour of Historic Warwood

Minnesota native Christina Rieth has been busy researching Wheeling's Warwood neighborhood. A PreserveWV AmeriCorps member working for Wheeling Heritage, she has been updating the historic property inventory (HPI) forms of Warwood properties and writing a reconnaissance survey which will be utilized to recommend Warwood and Warwood properties for National Register nominations. Using her research, she has put together a walking tour brochure of Wheeling's Warwood neighborhood and will present a preview of the tour and share the historical background of sites featured in the brochure. A guided walking tour in Warwood will be led by Reith later this summer.
