A small-town girl becomes the shining star of the NY Metropolitan Opera and the quintessential Mozartean soprano. Born in Wheeling and educated at the New England Conservatory of Music, Eleanor Steber was one of America’s most beloved sopranos. Music and history enthusiast Charles R. Wilson, accompanied by soprano Becky Rumfelt, will tell Eleanor’s story.
