Which business in Wheeling had the best Santa? Where in the Ohio Valley did you go to get your Christmas tree every year? Did you march in a holiday parade? Did the talking Christmas tree know you by name? The Neighborhood Nostalgia Series continues with Memories of Christmas in Wheeling at Lunch With Books at the Ohio County Public Library, Tuesday, December 19 at noon. Join us and share your fondest memories of Christmas in Wheeling. Dr. David Javersak, or as we will know him, “Dr. JaverSanta,” will host.

Dr. Javersak taught history at West Liberty University for 39 years and served as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts from 1986 until his retirement in 2007. He earned a B.A. degree from West Liberty State College, an M.A. from the University of Hawaii, and a Ph.D. from West Virginia University and has taught two People’s University series on Wheeling History at the Ohio County Public Library.

Lunch With Books LogoThe Ohio County Public Library's "Lunch With Books" programs are free and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to bring a bag lunch. Complimentary beverages are provided. "Bring your lunch, feed your brain." For more information, call the library at 304-232-0244.
