About this collection:

➤ Material consists of the files maintained by the historian of the Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation, beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing through to 2018.  The material includes subject files on a variety of Wheeling history topics, such as businesses, cemeteries, churches, organizations and prominent individuals and families.  Of note are historic property surveys of North Wheeling, South Wheeling and various Downtown blocks; files on the Mt. Wood Cemetery restoration, La Belle Nail Factory, and Oglebay Park.
