About this collection:
➤ This collection consists of photographs and correspondence from Wheeling residents or travelers passing through. The miscellaneous correspondence dates predominantly to the 1800s – as early as 1820 and as late as 1940.
Photographs date from the late 1800s to early 1900s and include scenes from downtown, construction sites, school dances (Linsly), OVGH nurses, factory employee photographs, and aerial views.
A small collection of ephemera is included: Liberty Transit Lines brochure, Co-operative Transit Company brochures, Wheeling Corrugating Co. steel ceilings brochure and price list.
