➤Virginia Alice Fleming was born April 6, 1911, in Wheeling, West Virginia to John and Eva Russell Fleming. She had two sisters, Elizabeth Russell and Sarah Agnes. Fleming worked as an accountant at the Department of Mental Health in Charleston. She died October 20, 2000, in Wheeling. The collection consists primarily of photographs, plus a few pieces of correspondence and clippings, and three photograph albums. Names included are: Eva 'Pink' Russell Fleming (mother of Virginia), Thornburg, Russell, Gaston, Vass, Byler, Gygax, Boyle, Howd, Gist, Burkham, McKee, Alexander, Sikes and many others.
