Spring Book Sale Open Donation Period

Help us fill our Spring book sale shelves by donating gently used books!

Are you beginning your spring cleaning and looking for somewhere to take books? As we prepare for our upcoming bi-annual book sale on April 12th and 13th, the library is asking for donations of books, children's books, CD audiobooks or music, DVDs, and magazines in good, gently-used condition.

In an effort to generate as many donations as possible for the event, from now through the last Saturday in March, we will not be requiring donation appointments.  You may bring in your donations any time we are open! (Please note: donations still must be brought inside to our staff at the circulation desk. Please do not leave donations outside of the library or put anything other than returns into the book drop!)

The Ohio County Public Library appreciates the generosity and thoughtfulness of our patrons shown through your donations! Proceeds from the book sales only ever go towards purchasing items for our catalog so we can ensure that we always have the books, music, movies, and games that our patrons are looking for.

Library Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 9 am to 9 pm
Friday: 10 am to 5 pm
Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday: CLOSED
